What it may do is attract more players to WoW
My understanding is that the free 90 included with WoD was really intended as an incentive to people who were either new to WoW or players returning to the game from some point in the past, allowing them to get a character to a point where the questing won't be horrendous in terms of time (new players won't have heirlooms and returning players may not have them) and also allow them to level and do endgame content with their friends.
If Blizzard were to sell a boost to 90 (or whatever point was the cap for the previous expansion in the future) it would have little to no effect on the game as a whole.world of warcraft gold People would use it because they're tired of running the same content over and over to get characters to a point where they can play with their friends. It won't affect me, it won't affect how I play the game and it won't give anyone something I can't have. If the price were right, say US$15-$25, I might even purchase one to either boost one of the toons I'm playing now or a new one in a class I don't normally play.
What it may do is attract more players to WoW. This, in the long run, can only be a good thing. More players means the game stays healthy for a longer period of time.
I'll grant that the leveling process is pretty quick, especially if you've done it a few times and know where to go and what to do. To new player, however, the *idea* of leveling 100 levels is off-putting. This option would allow them to get in to the game more easily. That can't be bad.
