  In his latest Dev Watercooler blog entry, Lead Systems Designer Greg "Ghostcrawler" Street covers some upcoming changes to threat. buy warcraft gold A hotfix this week will buff tank threat generation "to where it’s generally not a major consideration." Expect to see the following changes implemented:

  Hotfix: The threat generated by classes in their tanking mode has been increased from three times damage done to five times damage done.

  In an upcoming patch: Vengeance no longer ramps up slowly at the beginning of a fight. Instead, the first melee attack taken generates Vengeance equal to one third of the damage dealt by that attack. As Vengeance updates during the fight, it is always set to at least a third of the damage taken in the last two seconds. It still climbs from that point at the previous rate, still decays at the previous rate, and still cannot exceed the current maximum.

  Ghostcrawler goes on to say they "want to shift more tank mitigation to require active management" and suggests that all tanks can use the Death Knight model of managing resources to maximize survivability. You can read the entire entry after the jump.

How about a three-minute cooldown blast of arcane energy to make a warlock's eyes bug out?

A new spell, or a buff (with no drawback) or something that augments or amplifies an existing spell would be suitable for our Tier 6 talents. I'm not looking for something unbalanced here, we have to keep it fair. I like the mage/time manipulation association, why not a talent that lets you cast Alter Time an extra time? Or something altogether new in each of the three flavors. buy wow gold An icy boulder that actually does appreciable damage! Or a wall of fire like mages get in Diablo. How about a three-minute cooldown blast of arcane energy to make a warlock's eyes bug out?

Basically, my wish list is talents that fit these criteria:

1) Something new or unavailable without the talent

2) Balanced and on par with other classes

3) No drawback to casting it

The damage gained from the 90 talents could easily be rolled into our spells themselves and the talents replaced with something exciting and new. What would you like to see our 90 talents adjusted to? I'm sure you're just bursting with ideas. Share them in the comments. I'm not a game designer, but I trust the devs to adapt as necessary and come up with tier 6 talents for us that are truly great. We may have awhile to wait before that happens, but we can dream.

If you're alliance, you can start the Pearlfin Village quests and stop at the Carpe Diem quest, which provides you with a small army of NPCs that can be used to help you kill the endlessly spawning hozen. You need to tag as many as possible with AOE and keep your character from holding aggro. A few hours here and you'll have tons of Motes of Harmony, as well as a pretty good chance of a JC seeing a few recipes.The Mote of Harmony system was a big change in Mists of Pandaria. In all prior version of WoW there were distinct elemental type items used for crafting high level items.
